We've Got The Tools

This crucial part of a healthy lawn is often overlooked. If it’s below the ground, we don’t think a lot about it. However, proper airflow to a lawn’s roots is extremely important in the health of the lawn.

As we walk on our lawns over and over and use the heavy equipment needed to mow and fertilize, the dirt below the surface becomes compacted. This prevents the roots of the grass from getting the water and nutrients it needs to thrive.

It also makes a great place for bugs to hide, which is a problem within itself. To correct the compacted soil, it’s necessary to aerate from time to time.

The basic idea behind
lawn aeration is that, like you, your lawn and the soil under it need to breathe. Providing much-needed lawn aeration for your grass entails dealing with thatch.

Lawn aeration also reduces soil compaction, allowing water and fertilizer to permeate into the root zone. Grassy areas submitted to constant foot traffic require lawn aeration more frequently.

Our Company no longer uses mechanical core aeration as we and thousands of others have found an Organic solution that yields better results

Organic gardeners and horticultural professionals know that one of the secrets to having great lawns and gardens is having great soil. And that means a porous, well aerated soil where roots can grow deeply and where biolife can thrive.

Compacted soils cause unhealthy plants, lawns and trees. They stay soggy when wet, and turn rock hard when they dry out in the summer. When soils are "tight", necessary air, water and nutrients can not move through the soil. Disease occurs. Roots are stunted. Beneficial micro-organisms can't survive. Plants are stressed and weakened. When you are doing everything else right, soil compaction will ruin all your efforts, we have an Organic spray to cure the problem! Core Seration in our experience is only a patch which is why most companies have to do your lawn every spring..

For poorer topsoils with more clay content (normally hard when dry and somewhat sticky when wet), we do another application 1-2 weeks after the initial application is watered in. We suggest applying Aerify! every 1-2 months after that. When you soil has improved, 1 or 2 applications a year should be sufficient.

This could be your lawn!!!
