Spring is almost here!
With Spring around the corner many of our clients have begun to contact us to get on the to do list which is great and we appreciate your business.
It is our plan to start the season with wood chipping and tree cutting the latter part of March assuming the white stuff is gone. We added a 2nd wood chipper late in the fall of 2009, it's a Bearcat 8" Diesel and makes very fast work of chipping.
In late April or early May we will start our Spring clean up and finish leaf collection/mulching to those clients we were not able to get to in November, as you may recall the weather turned fast and the leaves were simply to wet to collect.
Organic Lawn spraying will start in May, last year we began trials with Liquid Corn Gluten to help control weeds, this year we will offer the product to all clients as it can be mixed with the other products we use for a all at once spray.
Excavation, drains etc. will also start in late April or early May, depending on the job in question we need the ground to dry out somewhat to minimize any damage.
Late in 2009 we added a Hudraulic Auger (11") to one of our excavators as the demand for post holes was very high and some of the rental units can become dangerous should you catch a rock while drilling. These units will bring to surface a med sized rock however there are times where we may have to switch to a bucket and dig the rock out for you. Prices are per hole and estimates are always free.
We are often asked if we will provide services outside HRM, due to travel costs as some of this machinery is very heavy, it depends on how big the job in question is, it may be that we will have to charge a small transportation fee to offset travel expense (gas). Feel free to contact us with an overview of your project and we will be happy to give you a yes or no and a quote.

Wood chipping and fully tree cutting services , we charge by the hour and encourage clients to help if they wish, it can take up to four people to keep these units fed, they are amazing!
